Employees are offered a range of industry standard benefits, including income protection and life assurance from day one and a generous non-contributory pension and private medical cover after successfully completing their probationary period.
Armour operates several different discretionary bonus schemes depending on the nature of the role, with some teams working to specific quantitative targets under Performance Incentive Plans and other staff delivering against individual objectives within a company-wide scheme.
All UK staff are part of the company wide performance management system, where regular feedback is encouraged between employees and managers and development needs identified. This culminates in the annual appraisal from which overall performance ratings are determined.
Staff are also encouraged to feedback to reps who form the Employee Consultation Forum which is held quarterly to update employees on company developments and respond to queries and questions raised.
We currently support a number of staff with training costs and study time to achieve professional qualifications, and for employees in posts requiring professional membership we pay for annual subscription fees.
We contribute towards sports and social events which are organised by staff at each of our key offices and we encourage staff to organise and take part in corporate fundraising events, to which we also contribute.
Employees are entitled to 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, which increases with service. Armour has an optician’s corporate eye care scheme in place with Healthcare Plan Boots Partnership. Season ticket loans are available upon request and whilst the Government’s salary sacrifice scheme remains open we also offer Childcare Vouchers with Edenred.
Armour understands that employees need to balance their work and home life commitments and will consider requests for flexible working where this can be supported by the business. We offer expectant parents time off for ante-natal care, midwifery checks as well as maternity leave and pay for mothers and paternity leave and pay for fathers. Adoptive parents are supported through the process and have entitlement to paid leave, and the company facilitates statutory parental leave where requested.
